<description><![CDATA[In June of 2012, the Rinker School’s Fire and Emergency Services program, in partnership with the Shands critical care transport program known as ShandsCair, introduced the Critical Care Paramedic training program. Thanks to the efforts of *Dr. Raymond Issa*, *Derek Hunt and FES Program Administrator *Lorie Drewke*, the University of Florida now stands as only the second university in the U.S. to provide this certification course. ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Javier Omana, Vice President of CPH Engineers and URP alum (class of 1982) and Christina Lathrop, Partner with Dix Lathrop Associates and LAE alum (class of 2012) recently joined landscape architecture students in an all day charrette exploring transportation-oriented development proposals for the Longwood Station district in Orlando.  According to LAE student Johan Bueno, “having someone whose life is filled with codes and regulations tell us that our sometimes outlandish ideas are valid is the best feeling in the world.”  ]]></description>
